One of the best things that comes from meditating on God is experiencing His personal, deep and intimate love for us.
Since learning to meditate on God, He has been continually revealing more and more of His incredible love for me in ways I have never known before.
Today’s thought comes from my own meditation time again when the Holy Spirit dropped this wonderful thought into my heart about God’s amazing love for me.
It revealed to me such a deep level of God’s personal love and really touched my heart. I pray that you would take this thought into your own meditation time this week and meditate on it and use it to help you find stillness and draw nearer to the One who loves you more deeply, more passionately and more personally than our human minds can even comprehend. I pray that you experience some of this deep, profound love today.
“God is fighting for you
Not just on your behalf but FOR you
He is fighting to have YOU”
What an incredible thought! The creator of the universe, the God of heaven and earth loves you so much He fighting for you.
Not just on your behalf but to have you, to have your love, to have a deep and intimate relationship with you.
We often hear the scriptures quoted that God is fighting for us meaning He fights on our behalf and that is true.
But more than that, He fights FOR you, to have YOU.
It’s one thing for someone to fight your battles on your behalf. It is another level altogether when someone fights for your love.
The battle you sometimes feel in your soul is God fighting with every part of your human nature to have you, to hold you and to keep you. All of you.
When the distractions of this world threaten to pull us, our love or attention away from Him, He fights with everything He’s got to have us and to keep us.
And He will never stop fighting. He will never let go.
This is incomprehensible love! That the God of heaven and earth loves me so much He would fight for me.
I pray this blesses you this week and that your week is filled with peace, love and light!
