Psalm 91 is filled with promises of blessing, favour, help, refuge, strength, safety, protection and answered prayer for those who dwell in the secret place.
Yes, the secret place is a quiet place we go to get away with God, to be still and wait on Him but it is more than that. It is the heart-to-heart, spirit-to-spirit connection we make with him when we get out of our headspace and into our heart-space.
This year my goal is to learn to live more and more from the secret place every moment of every day. It is a place of peace and rest; a place that God intended for us to live.
I pray that it would be your goal this year too – to learn to find the secret place – the heart space where God lives and learn to live from that space – I know it will transform your life and will make this year the best year you have ever had.
I am going away for a short break with my family and when I return I plan to start my series on “Tips for finding stillness”.
