By faith we believe God rewards us when we earnestly seek Him.

MacLaren rightly points out “… there are a great many good things that come to the diligently seeking Christian soul…”

Since I discovered the art of God Centred Meditation and have made it a daily practice of my life I have found the rewards are so great that it is almost impossible to list them all here.

Peace, joy, happiness, contentment, good health, less stress, clearer mind, increased productivity, happy family, improved relationships, the ability to let go of problems, thriving business, sense of purpose, and all kinds of wonderful opportunities – these are just some of the ways my life has changed dramatically since I began to “earnestly seek Him” through God-centred meditation.

But without doubt, the greatest reward of all, is God Himself.

“There is no reward comparable to the felt presence in our own quiet hearts of God – who has found us, and whom we have found” (MacLaren)

There is nothing greater in all the world than when we  draw near to Him and He draws near to us.

He satisfies my soul. He fills my life with good things. He surrounds me with love and kindness.

By faith He gives Himself to us when we seek Him. He rewards us with Himself when we seek Him. He does not withhold Himself. In Isaiah 45:19 God says “I would not have told you to seek me if I could not be found”.

Sometimes our mind doubts that God is there for us. Sometimes our human nature can not sense His presence. But He is always there, ready and willing to give Himself to the one who seeks Him.

If you have a need today, remember Matthew 6:33 “Seek God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need”. But best of all, He will give Himself to you. He is the great reward.

Praying that you will make time today to meditate on Him and with Him, and that you will experience the great rewards that seeking Him will bring into your life, and most of all, that you will experience Him.

Have a beautiful spirit-filled day!
